Requirements: Set up of these alerts requires Salesforce Administrator credentials or the necessary permissions to create new Custom Fields against Objects. If you do not, please contact your Salesforce Administrator.

Set up Missing Contacts Alerts
1. Click the Gear icon and click Setup.
2. Click Object Manager
3. Click Account.
4. Click Fields & Relationships.
5. Click New.
6. Select the Data Type as Number and click Next.
7. Give it an appropriate Field Label and Field Name (e.g. Missing Contacts) and then click Next.
8. Set the appropriate field-level Security and then click Next.
9. Select which Account Page Layout(s) to add this field to and then click Save & New.
10. This time select Date as the Data Type and click Next.
11. Give it an appropriate Field Label and Field Name (e.g. Missing Contacts Found) and then click Next.
12. Set the appropriate field-level Security and then click Next.
13. Select which Account Page Layout(s) to add this field to and then click Save.
Set up Out-of-Date Data Alerts
1. Click the Gear icon and click Setup.
2. Click Object Manager
3. Click Contact.
4. Click Fields & Relationships.
5. Click New.
6. Select the Data Type as Number and click Next.
7. Give it an appropriate Field Label and Field Name (e.g. Update Alerts) and then click Next.
8. Set the appropriate field-level Security and then click Next.
9. Select which Contact Page Layout(s) to add this field to and then click Save & New.
10. This time select Date as the Data Type and click Next.
11. Give it an appropriate Field Label and Field Name (e.g. Alerts Found) and then click Next.
12. Set the appropriate field-level Security and then click Next.
13. Select which Contact Page Layout(s) to add this field to and then click Save.
14. Repeat the above process against the Lead Object if required.

Once you have created all your custom fields, please email: support@ebsta.com with a list of all your Object names and Field API names e.g.
- Object Name(s) (e.g. Account)
- Field API Name(s) (e.g. Missing_Contacts__c and Missing_Contacts_Found__c)
Note: The Field API Name can be found by clicking Setup > Object Manager. Select your Object, then click Fields & Relationships. The API Name is under the Field Name column.
We will contact you as soon as it is set up. Ebsta will then automatically update the fields with a number of Missing Contacts and when the last one was found on an Account, and a number of Data Changes on a Leads/Contacts and when the last one was found. You can use those fields to create reports in Salesforce.
