Connect your Outlook mailbox to Ebsta
There are two ways to pause or stop a recipient in a Cadence - either directly in Outlook or from the Ebsta Console.
- Pause or stop a recipient in a cadence from Outlook
- Pause or stop a recipient in a cadence in Ebsta's Console
Pause or stop a recipient in a cadence from Outlook
1. Click the search button in the Ebsta side panel.
2. Search for the contact that you wish to pause or stop in a cadence using the search function and click on the result.
3. Click the Cadences tab.
4. Ebsta will display a list of all cadences that this contact has been added to. If the contact is still currently running in a cadence (i.e active), there will be a green dot next to the cadence name. Click the more actions button.
5. Click the Pause or Stop button.
6. Ebsta will confirm the recipient has been paused in the cadence by updating the green dot to display amber (or red if you have stopped the recipient in the cadence) .
7. If you have paused a contact in a cadence, you can re-start them* at any time by clicking the more actions button next to the cadence and selecting Resume.
* Contact is paused at current stage in live cadence. The contact will continue from the same point in the cadence if restarted.
Pause or stop a recipient in a cadence in Ebsta's Console
1. Click the menu button in the Ebsta side panel and select Control Panel to open up Ebsta's Console in a new browser tab.
Alternatively, open up the Ebsta Console by clicking on the following link:

(You will be asked to sign in with your Salesforce credentials)
2. Click Cadences.
3. Click the People tab.
4. Use the search function to search for a recipient and then click on it from the list.
5. Ebsta displays a list of all cadences the recipient has been added to. You can pause* or stop them in all or any cadences they are active in using the stop or pause buttons in the Action column.
* Contact is paused at current stage in live cadence. The contact will continue from the same point in the cadence if restarted.
