To better understand the difference between Ebsta's two email sync features, Inbox Native Sync and the Team email sync, here is a brief description of each.
Inbox Native Sync logs emails as tasks related to the relevant Salesforce record.
The following link provides instructions on how to setup Native Sync:
Ebsta Team Email Sync syncs your emails to the Ebsta cloud and makes the email history visible in the Ebsta activity view in the corresponding Salesforce record.
The following guide provides instructions on how to install and connect the managed package to Salesforce
A key difference to note is that for Native Sync the record must already exist at the time of the email being added for it to be added as a task. You cannot add previous emails to a newly created record. With Team sync the email history can be retrieved for a newly created record.
If both your Team Sync and Native Sync are on at the same time this could lead to the possibility of not having identical results for emails on a matching record.
