Select Relationship Insights > Activity Insights from the main navigation bar in Ebsta's Console
Activity Insights tracks every sales activity to give sales leaders better visibility of how their team are performing over time. With real-time relationship scoring, leader boards and trends, sales leaders and managers can drive productivity levels and focus team efforts on the right Opportunities.
Filtering the Insights
By default, the chart displays the daily total number of sales activities (sent emails, calls and meetings) that have taken place amongst your teams over the last 7 days. The chart also plots total activities (emails, calls and meetings combined) and the team average.
Use the filters in the top left-hand corner, you can customize the chart to display a specific time period...
or the activities of a particular team member(s)...
or those of a specific team or teams.
Activities Metrics
Below the chart, Ebsta displays a breakdown of the Activities by Type for the time period displaying in the main chart and a comparison with the previous period. For example, if you are viewing the activity performance of last week it would compare to the week before last.
Email Activity Breakdown summarises sent emails over the time period displaying in the main chart. Ebsta displays:
- The number of external emails to contacts in Salesforce
- The number of external emails to contacts not in Salesforce
- The number of internal emails
Again this information is compared to the previous period.
Activities Leader board
On the right-hand side, the leader board ranks team members based on total number of activities for the time period displaying in the main chart.
You can sort the leader board by activity type using the filter at the top.
Clicking on a team member in the leader board* will update the Activity Trend chart to display data for that team member only. This enables you to view their activity levels over the week and determine how they are performing in comparison to the team average.
*This action does not change the Activities Breakdown below the chart. This only changes if you use the date and/or user filters at the top of the graph.
Bulk API Access
Forecast Insights require Bulk API access which is included with Enterprise, Unlimited, Developer and Performance editions. If you are using Professional edition, Bulk API access can be purchased by contacting Salesforce. Those using Essentials and Group will need to upgrade their edition.
