Ebsta's Alerts view displays missing, incomplete and out of date information related to the record you are viewing. Click on the Alerts tab to open up the Alerts view.
Data Alerts include new Contacts, updated phone numbers and job titles and if a contact has left the business (this is displayed in the Type column).
The Update To column displays the existing information held for the Contact and the New Value column displays the updated information.
In the example above, the Job Title field in the Contact record for Melvin Bosworth in Salesforce is currently blank. Ebsta has identified from his email signature that his Job Title is Head of Sales and creates an alert.
To update Salesforce with this information, click the tick icon in the Action column.
You can also choose to Ignore the update by clicking the minus icon.
Both these actions remove the alert from the view.
Note: For phone numbers, Ebsta will list available fields and current values for that contact so a decision can be made as to which field the new value is updated to.
If Ebsta has identified a new Contact, a new Lead or Contact record can be created directly from this view by clicking the person icon.
If you don't want to action each individual alert, you have the option of downloading all missing Contacts, updated telephone numbers, job titles etc in a data cleanse report which can be uploaded directly to Salesforce.
