Ebsta's powerful parsing engine captures the contact details found inside every email signature on the emails you receive including Out-of-office emails and auto-responders and alerts you to any information that is out-of-date and needs updating
To view these alerts, scroll down to the Ebsta section in your Page Layout and click on the Alerts tab to open the Alerts view.
Data Alerts include new Contacts, updated phone numbers and job titles and if a contact has Left Business. The Update To column displays the existing information held for the Contact and the New Value column displays the updated information.
In this column you can decide to update the Contact record by clicking the check mark beside the record. This will automatically update the record. For phone numbers, you can see the list of available fields and current values for that contact, to decide which field you should write the new value into.
If Ebsta has found a new Contact, you can choose to create a new Lead or Contact record from the Alerts Tab.
If Ebsta alerts you to an update that you don't want to change, you can choose to Ignore the update by clicking the stop sign. This will remove it from the Alerts Tab.
Top Tip: If you don't want to action each individual alert, you have the option of downloading all missing Contacts, updated telephone numbers, job titles etc in a data cleanse report which can be uploaded directly into Salesforce
