With Ebsta Team installed, connected to Salesforce and added to your Page Layouts, when you open a record in Salesforce, Ebsta will open by default on the Activities view. Click on the Contacts tab to open up the Contact view.
In the Contacts view, Ebsta displays all key contact details for the Lead or Contact you are viewing including job title, phone number and email address which have been parsed directly from the Contact's email signature.
When viewing an Opportunity or Account, Ebsta also display all contacts that anyone within your organisation has ever engaged with at that company, regardless of whether they are in Salesforce or not.
In this article we will go through each of the different areas of the Contact view and its features including:
Ebsta measures the strength of your relationship with contacts based on your email communications (how often you exchange emails, how recently emails have been exchanged and so on) to build a Velocity score. You can easily identify which contacts within a company you have the strongest connections with.
This column displays the email address of the contact and gives Users the ability to hide all emails and this contact from view. Clicking on the drop-down arrow next to a Contact's name opens up the Privacy Controls. Users can choose to:
Hide All Emails: Hide all emails* relating to that Contact, but continue to keep the Contact visible
Hide All Emails & Contact: Hide the Contact and all Email communications
* If you wish to hide a specific email, you can do this from the Activities view.
Note: You will need to ask your Salesforce Administrator to enable Privacy Controls if you don't have this option available.
Ebsta displays which of your colleagues has interacted with a contact. By default, Ebsta displays the colleague who had the last interaction with them and displays how many other colleagues have engaged with this contact as per the example below.
Hovering over the colleague's name gives a list of other colleagues who have interacted with this contact.
