Ebsta cross-references Salesforce based on the LinkedIn, Job board/online profile or email you’re looking at and notifies you of what content exists in your Salesforce database via the Notification Bar which drops down in Gmail and Chrome.

Ebsta's Notification Bar
Ebsta's Notification Bar provides a snapshot of key information held in your database; key Contact information, latest Opportunities and Activities for example.
Note: When in Gmail, if the email sender is associated to an Account, the Ebsta notification bar will show the latest Opportunities and Activities related to that Account, and not the Contact information.
Top Tip: Clicking on any field underlined blue in the Notification Bar opens the record up in Salesforce in a new browser tab
Ebsta's Notification Bar will also advise you if no matching records exist in your database. In this case, the bar will look something like this:
Ebsta's Gmail/Salesforce Integration
In Gmail, as well as dropping the Notification Bar, Ebsta also includes icons within your inbox so you can determine at a glance whether you have a related Salesforce record or not. Clicking any of these icons updates the Notification Bar.
Represents a matching Lead record in Salesforce.
Represents a matching Contact record in Salesforce.
Represents multiple results in Salesforce.
Ebsta's Bubble: Editing and Adding to Salesforce
To view and/or edit the record displayed in the Notification Bar, simply click on the Ebsta icon in the top right-hand corner of Gmail or your browser. This opens up Ebsta's bubble where you will be able to edit the record and record activities against it without leaving Gmail/Chrome.
Where no matching records are found in your database Ebsta enables you to add a new record (Contact, Account, Lead or Opportunity) to Salesforce without leaving Gmail or your browser. Ebsta will pre-populate key fields from information on the web page you are on.*
* Ebsta will not automatically pre-populate fields when adding a new record to your database from LinkedIn due to their terms and conditions.
