By default, Ebsta includes private events in the sync process. If you do not wish them to be included simply check the tick box next to Do Not Sync Private Events.
To adjust your calendar sync settings, follow instructions in this article:
Adjust your Calendar Sync Settings
If you decide to include Private Events in the sync process, Ebsta will automatically mark them as Private when syncing them from Salesforce to Google or Outlook. The same applies when the sync is running the opposite way; Events marked Private in Google/Outlook will automatically be marked as Private in Salesforce.
For the above process to work, you need to ensure the Private field is included in your Event Page Layout in Salesforce. Follow the steps below to do this.
Add the Private field to your Event Page Layout in Salesforce
1. Click the Gear icon and click Setup.
2. Click Object Manager
3. Click Event
4. Click Page Layouts.
5. Click on the Event Layout.
6. Click and drag the Private field into the Event Detail area.
7. When it has turned green you will be able to drop it into the Event Page Layout.
8. Click Save.
