Follow the steps below to add email attachments to Salesforce from Gmail.
Adding email attachments to Salesforce in Gmail
1. Open the email which contains the attachment you wish to add to Salesforce and click the Advanced Add button to open up Ebsta's Add Email to Salesforce window.
2. Ebsta will automatically relate the email to the appropriate record in Salesforce. You can amend this as necessary.
3. To add the attachment to Salesforce, click on the attachment title so that it turns green and click Save.
4. The email will be added to Salesforce in the usual way, the attachment will be added to the Notes & Attachments section in Salesforce.
Note: If you wish the attachment to be attached to the Task in Salesforce instead of the default setting as above, please contact our Support Team to request this change.
